For our client, one of the leading suppliers of products, systems, and concepts from development to high-tech production, we are looking for a SAP IT Architect (PI/PO, Cloud Integration Suite).

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring, controlling and optimizing interfaces (IDOCs, RFCs, EDI, queues) in the current system landscape;
• Defining cross-system processes, designing, developing, implementing, and testing smart and intelligent interfaces in close cooperation with the Global IT Team;
• Becoming responsible for consulting internal business partners and customers regarding the integration of SAP and non-SAP systems and platforms;
• Consulting and contributing proactively to the S/4HANA transformation project moving to new integration technologies in the context of SAP-BTP;
• With increasing experience, you can act as technical workstream lead.

Requirements:

• Degree in computer science or a comparable field of study or an IT-related apprenticeship with relevant professional experience;
• Solid technical understanding of the architecture of common SAP interface topologies and data exchange technologies (e.g. IDOC, ALE, BAPI, Web Services (SOAP, REST, ODATA), OFTP2, JDBC; EDI (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, VDA), XML, JSON);
• At least 3 years of SAP PI/PO experience with a focus on analyzing and mapping structured data;
• First practical experience in the BTP environment is a plus;
• Good understanding of the entire business value chain as well as business and logistics processes;
• English fluently, German is a plus;
• Willing to travel from time to time with onboarding activities in Germany.
